Methodology
How the niche score works, what it can tell you, and what it can't.
The six scoring dimensions
- Audience demand
- How many people appear to care about the topic and keep coming back to it.
- Buyer intent
- How often the audience researches and buys products, not just reads for fun.
- Competition accessibility
- How realistic it is for a new site to be seen next to established publishers.
- Affiliate and monetization opportunities
- The range of products, programs and commission types available.
- Content depth
- Whether there are enough distinct questions and topics to support a long-term site.
- Beginner suitability
- How easy it is to start without deep expertise, big budgets or special access.
How the overall score is calculated
An AI language model reviews your niche, audience and goals, rates it on the dimensions above, and produces an overall score from 0 to 100 together with a plain-language verdict. Higher scores mean the niche looks more promising for a beginner affiliate site.
Owner review needed: Confirm whether dimensions are weighted equally or describe the exact weighting.
Data sources
The tools do not currently connect to live search, keyword, traffic or sales data. Results come from the AI model's general knowledge.
Owner review needed: If you add any external data sources, list them here.
Facts, estimates and AI inference
- Sourced facts — claims backed by a cited source. The tools do not currently cite external sources.
- Estimates — scores and difficulty ratings are judgment calls, not measurements.
- AI inference — strengths, risks, content ideas and plans are generated suggestions.
Known limitations
- AI knowledge can be out of date or wrong for fast-moving markets.
- Scores do not predict traffic, rankings, commissions or income.
- Results may vary between runs for the same niche.
- Always verify important decisions with current research and first-hand experience.
